Since April 2017, our bioethanol plant has been operating an anaerobic wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 450 m³ per day. The plant processes molasses and grain distiller’s grains decantate, with a COD load of 100,000 mg/L.

From January 10, 2017, to April 20, 2017, the VOC treatment system performed exceptionally well, removing 85% of the pollutants. The equipment allows for the production of 230 m³ of biogas per hour, which reduces heating costs.
