Over more than 15 years of fruitful collaboration, the Ukrainian technology company and INTERIS have successfully completed more than 10 joint projects.

A partner of UTC in a technology consortium since 2008, working on the implementation of projects involving wastewater treatment plants, biogas complexes, and bioethanol plants.

The company specializes in conducting methanation tests and provides consulting services on ensuring the continuous operation of biogas plants and treatment systems, as well as on rapid response to emergencies.

OPURE BV ensures the high-quality performance of continuous tests to determine:

• toxicity of wastewater and cleaning products
• total COD in wastewater
• fermentation of residual streams
• the growth rate of nitrifying bacteria and their dephosphatase activity
• denitrification potential with source selection
• limiting factors in anaerobic degradation
• activity of granular sludge

Since 2019, the company has been transformed into the Moret Industries Engineering & Technologies Group holding company, which employs more than 700 specialists in 8 countries: France, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Canada, Argentina, Mauritius, and China.

Moret Industries develops highly efficient, innovative technological solutions in the fields of sugar and alcohol production, bioconversion, drying, granulation, and energy conservation through its flagship brands Maguin, Interis, VetterTec, Promill, and De Smet Engineering & Contractors.

UTC’s partnership with the company as a technology developer and technical consultant spans 10 years and includes 12 joint projects in the sugar, alcohol, and bioethanol industries.

Since 2012, UTC has been manufacturing high-tech equipment under license from Maguin.

The company’s portfolio includes 35 facilities with cogeneration capacities ranging from 340 kW to 16 MW, with biogas output of up to 7,000 m³ per hour in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South America, China, and Korea.

Since 2014, Adverio has been UTC’s long-standing technology partner in the design and construction of high-capacity biogas complexes.

As part of the technology consortium, the companies have implemented two large-scale turnkey projects:

• Astarta Biogas Plant – 150,000 m³ of biogas per day
• Yuzefo-Mykolaiv Gas Processing Plant – 5 MW of electrical energy

The AGAR® MBBR portfolio of aerobic technologies, AGAR IFAS®, and DACS® anaerobic technologies—all based on the principles of the circular economy—enable cost-effective modernization and reduced capital expenditures while minimizing environmental impact.

AGAR technology is the result of a decade of research and development by the company.

The company owns:

• technology patents that have been implemented at 550 water treatment facilities in 50 countries around the world
