Phase II of the construction of the Teofipol Bioethanol Plant

Construction of the Teofipol bioethanol plant is ongoing. The new plant will operate on combined raw materials: sugar molasses will only be an additional raw material in combination with grain or wet corn.

  • processing – 300 tons/day
  • bioethanol production – 10,000 dal/day

The technology was developed by UTC’s partner, Maguin/France, a global industry leader.

UTC is the main contractor for the new construction.

“We not only develop projects according to Magen technology, but we also design and manufacture 80% of the equipment for production workshops. This includes special licensed column equipment from Magen/France, which will also be produced in Ukraine at our plant in Kozyatyn, Vinnytsia region. – зазначив Евген Лукашевич.

For the Teofipol Energy Company and UTC, this project is interesting primarily because of the opportunity to achieve maximum production efficiency through synergy – sugar, bioethanol, and biogas. At the same time as building the new bioethanol unit, we are constructing the fourth phase of the biogas complex. These are three high-load reactors intended mainly to process bard decantate – the main output of the new bioethanol production.

The second phase of construction is now complete – installing the main technological equipment for the main production areas: raw material reception and preparation, fermentation, rectification, dehydration, and bard decantation.

“Today, more than twenty pieces of equipment have been delivered to the plant. We are finishing the installation at the same time as the construction of the frames and wall cladding. The next step will be piping, connecting the water and heating networks, and automation,” the project managers noted.
