Modernization of a production line at the Teofipol Sugar Factory

Ukrainian Technology Company has successfully completed the commissioning work for the technical modernisation of a production unit at the Teofipol Sugar Factory.

During the modernisation, the entire scope of work—comprising design, construction, engineering, manufacture and installation of equipment, as well as commissioning—was successfully completed.

As part of the project, the following were constructed:

• a grain reception, cleaning and grinding section;
• a grain steaming section;
• a yeast fermentation section: fermentation tanks and a new-design after-fermenter;
• a distillation and dehydration section.

The complex was built in collaboration with the French company Intreris, which specialises in the development and implementation of innovative biotechnological solutions.

The modernisation of the Teofipol sugar factory is an important step in the development of Ukraine’s bioenergy sector. This demonstrates that Ukrainian enterprises are ready to embrace innovation and are keen to succeed in a competitive global market.
