A raw material supply line has been installed at the Klembov Power Plant

Work on the installation of the fuel supply line to the steam boiler at the Klembiv Power Plant has been completed. The line was installed in April 2020 for Bio Electrics. The new line shreds, stores, and transports corn crop residues to the boiler furnace. The particle size of the shredded straw at the outlet is 10–60 mm. A key technological feature of the line is a unique pneumatic conveyor system that divides the prepared raw material into three separate streams. This ensures reliable, continuous boiler operation and uniform fuel combustion. The line’s capacity is 500 m³/h.

Components of the production line:

  • Shredders – 2
  • Chain-type scraper conveyors – 4
  • Storage bunker – 1
  • Pneumatic conveyor system—3 lines

The equipment delivery and installation work took one month. The next step will be to automate the line and connect it to the boiler. General commissioning work at the Klembovskaya Power Plant is scheduled for August 2020.

Note:

The Klembivska Thermal Power Plant will use only environmentally friendly solid fuels: wood chips and corn stover. Once construction is complete, the plant will have a capacity of 6 MW of electricity per hour.
